How long have you been tattooing and how did you start your tattooing journey?

I worked on a construction site and spent six months raising money to buy my first razor tattoo machine. After that I done my first professional tattoo in 2012. Since then I haven’t let the tattoo machine out of my hands.

Do you remember what was the first tattoo you did? If so, tell us what it was and for who.

Yes, I remember my first tattoo! 🙂 The first tattoo I got was a black and gray skull with a pattern. I got this tattoo done on my own leg.  I just really wanted to try out a new Machine. I didn’t complicate the project. I chose the first thing I saw on the Internet and decided to do it.  I quickly printed it out, made a transfer and started doing 🙂

Please, tell us about your current tattoo style and how it has changed over the years.

My tattoo style is the color or black and grey artistic realism.

Does anyone or anything inspire you?

I draw inspiration from travel, designers, artists, photography. From anything that can bring something new to tattoos.

Are there any tattoo artists who are extremely admirable to you? If so who?

Yes, there are tattooists who are extremely admirable to me. In fact, there are a lot of such artists, these are just some of them: Dmitriy Samohin, Katerina Mikky Volkova.

Do you have any memorable tattoo story or a customer that has stuck with you through all the time you have been tattooing?

The most interesting story happened when I went to participate in my first Tattoo Convention in Lviv, Ukrainian. I went with my friend and we registered as masters from a Tattoo Studio. The truth was that no one really knew us. I didn’t work in any tattoo studio because I worked at home then 🙂 Having thus deceived the organizers, I took part and took 1st place in the “Best of the day Tattoo” category. Then I realized that I was on the right path, and I need to work hard in this direction 🙂

Is there any art form that fascinates you also except tattooing? Maybe do you have any other passion or something that you really enjoy doing?

Yes, I have. I love writing music. I only do this for myself. It makes me feel good. Another passion is snowboarding during the winter. It’s a kind of freedom to me😌

Do you like visiting or exhibiting at tattoo conventions? Would you recommend any of them?

I go to the Tattoo Convention to look at the other tattoo artists. Showing myself and my work is another reason 😀 I like to looking at the level of tattoos and how this industry is groving up. Interesting for me is who does what, what new styles, and new tattoo artists have appeared. Communication and meetings with masters are great!

The best tattoo conventions for me are:

  • “Warsaw Tattoo Convention”,
  • Polish series of Tattoo Conventions named “Tattoo Konwent”,
  • “Venezia Tattoo Convention”,
  • “Tattoofest Convention Krakow”,
  • “Tattoo Convention Berlin seit 1991”,
  • “Tattoo Expo Zwickau”.

Any artist you planning to get tattooed by? Who has tattooed you already?

I want to get a tattoo from Katerina Mikky Volkova. So far I have a tattoo on my leg that my wife Alisa (Alice Doll) did for me. I also have a tattoo which was done by my colleague from work – Alina (Alina Lee).

What are your plans and dreams? If you think about yourself in 10 years, what do you see?

Of course, it is very difficult to talk about what will happen in 10 years🙂 But I can say with confidence that I’m not going to change my position in life. It consists in the desire to achieve success and recognition. I see myself as a successful person. To achieve my goal, I work hard and try to implement all my ideas and plans.🙂I think that I will have my own Studio, maybe several studios. On the basis of the Studio, most likely there will be a tattoo school.
