How long have you been tattooing and how did you start your tattooing journey?

I did my first tattoo around 18 years ago, but the first year was mostly a hobby.

Do you remember what was the first tattoo you did? If so, tell us what it was and for who.

Yeah, of course, this tattoo that’s still on my best friend’s leg is a small and ugly eight ball, a classic from the 90s hehehe.

Please, tell us about your current tattoo style and how it has changed over the years.

I love color, I love black and gray and I love everything dark, I try to mix everything, simply… My style changes over time, but only following my own taste.

Does anyone or anything inspire you?

I am inspired by everything I see, everything I live, sometimes intentionally, and sometimes unintentionally. Everyday I try to look at a lot of classical art, good photographers and many great tattoo artists. I learn something from everyone.

Are there any tattoo artists who are extremely admirable to you? If so, who?

I really admire everyone who works hard, and who does something new in this world, in any tattoo style. I love a job well done, whoever does it, famous or not.

Do you have any memorable tattoo story or a customer that has stuck with you through all the time you have been tattooing?

My wife is my best customer of course, she is fully covered by my work, some of my best tattoos, my first prizes in tattoo shows done around the world. She has always accompanied me in this world, and it is my best story.

Is there any art form that fascinates you also except tattooing? Maybe do you have any other passion or something that you really enjoy doing?

I am fascinated by painting, music, ancient architecture, everything that is art. I live with my family in the mountains, in a beautiful forest, with my horses, my dogs …that is my other passion.

Do you like visiting or exhibiting at tattoo conventions? Would you recommend any of them?

Of course, I love doing conventions, I’m a lucky guy for being able to travel to many conventions in a lot of countries. I recommend Ottawa Gatineau Tattoo Expo, which is one of my favourites.

Any artist you planning to get tattooed by? Who has tattooed you already?

My last tattoo was made by my friend Pablo Hernande. I have tattoos from Laura Juan, Mariano di Tomasso, Uri Torras and many more wonderful artists. I would very much like to get a tattoo done by Victor Portugal, heis an awesome artist.

What are your plans and dreams? If you think about yourself in 10 years, what do you see?

My dream was always to be able to work drawing. The tattoo made this possible many years ago. I would like to be able to continue for a long time, and continue traveling to many more places that I still do not know.
