Rick “Zombie Boy” Genest; A World Cries:

Zombie Boy has died, this gripping news took the world by storm last week on the 1st of August. No one could believe it, especially the tattoo world and body-art community was shocked to hear it. Countless people, who looked up to this one of a kind individual, have expressed their sorrow and gratitude for him, having been who he was.
Truly, those close to this one of a kind person, must be most distraught of all.

At first people and the media, believed that Rick had committed suicide. However, his family who are devastated by his demise, have come out to the media (people magazine), to state that they do not believe that he committed suicide. Though his life may have been a difficult one, they do not believe he would have chosen such a way out.
They believe that he in fact, fell to his death by accident. Out of respect for his family, that is what we choose to believe.

He was one impressive individual. Early in his career, making his way through life, being the zombie boy at circuses and freak-shows. But he got a breakthrough that no one saw coming. Even when he was at the height of his fame in the tattoo world, no one realised what he would become. Zombie boy truly was a star and inspired countless people to be themselves. After all he made it all the way to the top, becoming a fashion model, working with lady gaga, and many more. All while sticking to his own way, as the Zombie Boy.

Final Comment:

It is with a heavy heart that the world says goodbye to Zombie Boy. Not only did he make the world a little more interesting. But he was an inspiration, to many others who feel out of place in this world. There is no doubt that he will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
