How long have you been tattooing and how did you start your tattooing journey?

I started about 8 years ago. It was a moment in my life when I had a bit of free time. I was a tattoo enthusiast with a few tattoos on my body and a lot of ideas for new ones. I also had some drawing skills but I knew it’s not enough. First step for me was 2 years of classic drawing courses. In this time I also started to do some tattoos at home. After this time I found apprenticement and I started to focus on geometrical/ornamental style.

Do you remember what was the first tattoo you did? If so, tell us what it  was and for who.

It was a small initial-letter “A”. I did it for a friend of my sister. I met her last year on my sisters wedding. Tattoo is ok, but she wants to cover it anyway 🙂

Please, tell us about your current tattoo style and how it has changed over the years.

I do geometrical and ornamental tattoos in black, but last time I use more and more colors. I focus on composition and I always try to find right proportions of elements and perfect placement on the body for them. I think change that I did over the years is about getting better in this aspects as much as getting better in technical side of tattooing. Sometimes I do more technical and rigid geometries, sometimes more ornamental and organic forms. It depends of period or what are clients expectations.

Does anyone or anything inspire you?

Nature, architecture, art. It is all inspirational.

Are there any tattoo artists who are extremely admirable to you? If so who?

My fascination with dotwork and geometry started when I saw works of Xed Le Head. That’s the only name I will mention. They are many artists I know personally or I follow on social media on different levels of experience and with different skills. But I have to say I admire people who give heart into tattoos which they do and do their best to do real creation.

Do you have any memorable tattoo story or a customer that has stuck with you through all the time you have been tattooing?

There are people that has stayed with me over the years doing more and more tattoos with me. There are also stories and experiences, most of them are positive, or funny. We can talk about it when we will meet in a private space. A long as it is about other people, the best way is stay this stories in secret for the public 🙂

Is there any art form that fascinates you also except tattooing? Maybe do you have any other passion or something that you really enjoy doing?

Art is always with me, it is the motor of many things, and I admire all kinds of it. However now I do not do perform any other kind of art, except tattooing. In fact when I started to make tattoos I stopped playing music to have more time for designing etc. I am a bit into yoga- which is basically about everything what is important. I enjoy simple things like cooking, listening to audiobooks, lying in hammock.

Do you like visiting or exhibiting at tattoo conventions? Would you recommend any of them?

Conventions are great, I have been exhibiting on 8 or 9 of them last year. It is always good to see some amazing tattoos, meet old friends and make new friends there. It is a big shame that because of COVID-19 we can not celebrate tattoo conventions this year. I strongly recommend to visit Tattoofest in Kraków. But every city and every convention is different so basically it is good to check as many as you can 🙂

Any artist you planning to get tattooed by? Who has tattooed you already?

Uhhh, I have so many from so many people, mostly from friends 🙂 I will skip writing what I have, but I can write something about my plans. I would like to get some tattoos from Krzysztof Wiśniewski, and some from Marian Gogut. I still have one to finish with Karolina Czaja and I need to reschedule my appointment with Krzysztof Futro :):):)

What are your plans and dreams? If you think about yourself in 10 years, what do you see?

I just realised my plans about running my own studio. I have wonderful people around me there, and a beautiful space to work in. I would like to develop it. I would like to travel more, privately and with tattooing. In 10 Years… I see myself happy with who I am, this is most important for me.
