Kyle Egg Williams:

Kyle Egg, a master of dark realism tattoos from England, who loves to work with photo realism more than anything.
He feels that the genre both challenges and inspires him, making him work harder and develop his style further. Whether he is tattooing a historic figure or doing a portrait of batman, or even Freddy Kruger.
Kyle loves to be as detailed as possible in his word, with a nice black/dark twist.

Indeed he started out with an art background. Where his focus was on graphite and charcoal drawings, with a focus on contrasts. An art-style which he later took with him, into his tattoo style.

When it comes to his favorite motives to tattoo, Kyle is pretty easy going as long as it fits into his style.
However he loves to work on horror images, indeed also in color, where he can stay nice and dark.
Especially if he can tattoo people on the calf, with something dark and awesome, his day is made. As he feels he can work like he was drawing on a piece of paper, having it easily accessible and right in front of him.
However in contrast to this stands the ribs. He feels that the pain the client has to deal with, makes it difficult to work for that long at a time. Which can be troublesome, as his style of tattooing involves a lot of detail, which takes time. However, if you can sit it, he will still do it for you.

50 Shades of Ink Helsingborg 2017:

It was Kyle’s first time at 50 Shades of Ink and he absolutely loved it. He especially thought that the people and the atmosphere was top notch. As well as it being a perfect chance for him to go international and network with artists, from many different countries. He definitely wants to come back next year, especially if there will be the same amount and variety of people.
He also had not heard of Mediazink before. But he was impressed with the work that had been put into the convention, and felt very excited about being featured on the site.
Kyle also won 3 prizes at the convention; 2nd Best Small, 3rd Best Black and Grey and 2nd Realistic.
With Kyle’s awesome work ethic, he might come back next year and take 1st in all 3.
