Djigo; Ambitious Artist and Businessman From Turkey:

Cihat Doğan, people know him as and call him Djigo. owner of Cleopatra Ink Tattoo , Cleopatra Ink Tattoo is locatedin Alanya since 2014. They have till date, done more then 45.000 tattoo pieces. They are the biggest organization and tattoo studio company, in Europe, with more then 100 employees. Since March 2016 till September 2017, they have won 15 international prizes, from  tattoo conventions and we are proud to have them.
Djigo himself lives in Alanya, where they have a lot of tourist customers. They make friends with many of the tourists and visit them in their hometowns, during the winter.

Cleopatra Ink’s newest project, is tattoo tourism. They are starting to make a tattoo tourism business. Since 2015 – 375 people, in 2016 – 496 people came and in 2017 – 714 people came to Alanya, as part of their tattoo tourism.
They fix a package with a tattoo, flight ticket and hotel all included in one price, and they are the biggest in Europe, when it comes to tattoo Tourism.

We had the Pleasure of Interviewing Djigo about his own tattoo career and his business.

The Interview:

1. Where are you from? What age are you? and how long have you been tattooing for?

İm from İstanbul / Turkey , im 27 years old, im a tattoo artist 9 years

2. The name of your current studio and where is it located?

Cleopatra Ink Tattoo Alanya /Turkey

3. How would you describe your style of tattooing/the style of your tattoos?

In our shop 37 artists work , that’s why we can do all kind of styles of tattoo  because all of them has got a different specialty. But I personally, only do realistic works.

4. What is it you love about that style?

İ love to do portraits and detailed works

5. What is your favourite thing about being a tattoo artist?

To create arts on the skins and every different skin has got different story love to discover and be the part of their story.

6. What got you into tattooing?

Since when i was child i was always drawing and makes arts and stuff and body is the best canvas, I love to put my signature on people , and be the part of their life .

7. What is your favourite tattoo you have ever done or seen?

My favorite tattoo is from Vasili Suvorov. he made it in april one colour realistic tattoo from the series Vikings.

8. What is required to be a good tattoo judge, at conventions?

İts the hard part of my life and time. because you have to look good and check everything, if its done good, no scar, shades has to be smooth, no mixed colours, correct lines and how it all be after healing and the last what i check its the design.

9. Do you have a dream tattoo, that you want to do on someone in the future?

My dream tattoo is to make a portrait of hollywood stars in 1 body.

10. Do you have any future plans, you would like your fans and the readers at Mediazink, to know about?

We gonna start to open shop all the capital of Europe cities. Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam ,Helsinki first… And i have many danish client and 40%  of them knows Mediazink from social media.

Final Comments and Gallery:

Indeed Djigo is both a skilled tattoo artist and a very ambitious business man. Wanting to create a tattoo empire across Europe, both with studios and tattoo tourism. He was also a judge at 50 Shades of Ink Copenhagen this year, where he showed everyone his skill as a judge.  It will be exciting to see how his plans workout in the future, we here at Mediazink look forward to it.
