Cinema Makeup; When You Need Body-Art, Not CGI:

Cinema makeup has been an art-form in itself, for many years now. With the rise of CGI and other computer related special effects. The art of cinema makeup and practical effects, has been on a retreat. But as seen in a video by IN THE KNOW, some creative people, are keeping the art alive.

If you are ever looking to be impressed, take a look at the masterful creations these people craft. not only can they turn the most beautiful person, into a horrifying ghoulish creature, or a fantastic sci-fi or fantasy beast. But as the word effects also hints at, the creations do more than just change appearance. For the true masters, the makeup creations become props for the scenes and movies they are part of.

Whether it is a throat being ripped apart, horns growing out of a persons forehead, or grim jaws of a monster moving like they were real and ready to clamp down on a victim. It is incredible what these people can do. They make the impossible possible, all through their amazing crafting skills, with makeup.

Final comment:

Cinema Makeup, as you may now agree, it is indeed a form of body-art, on par with other non permanent forms, like body-painting and body-suspension. We should never forget how inspiring art like this can be. It can help make movies awesome, as well as help to create spectacles straight out of our imagination. We hope it will inspire you, we certainly are.
